ModusDoc 8.0.x Cloud Installation Guide
If you already have version 8.0 installed, you should install the program into the existing installation folder. Typically, this is the [Cloud]\ModusDoc8 folder.
If you are upgrading from version 7.x, we recommend following these steps to install the latest version:
- Install the program into the folder ([Cloud]\ModusDoc8)
- After launching the program for the first time, go to the menu: [Tools] – [Utility Functions] – [Import databases and settings from previous ModusDoc versions…]
- If a window prompts you to convert your databases to the NEW FORMAT upon startup (note: this window might not appear), simply click OK.
- If you own a registered version, activate the program with your 8.0 key via [Help] – [Activation…]
Now you can test the program and decide how you want to use it. The previous and new versions will run completely independently of each other.
